Happy Belated

I can't believe my baby is 3! I'm sure there is something I can do to make him stop growing right?

Busy Weekend

First we had to go see the new baby elephant they have since named Zuri, which I think is a very cute name. She was so cute. I usually think baby animals are cute, but I will have to say that this baby elephant surprised me by how cute she was. She kept trying to climb this little dirt hill and would stumble back down and look so proud that she didn't fall all the way to the ground. I could have watched her all day.

We also saw the baby giraffe. I couldn't get a very good picture, but you get the idea.

And of course we can't forget to mention that it was baby Marshall's first trip to the Zoo. Did I mention I love being an aunt?

Then on Saturday, we went to Lagoon. Always fun to be had there!

Thank you Mitch, for taking Connor on the spinning rides.

Connor and Grandpa

Connor was big enough to go on some of the bigger rides this year. Can't wait until next year when he can go on a few by himself! (Dad was a little sick at the end of the day, but maybe it had more to do with the 5 adult rides he went on all in a row. Ya, I've learned to sit a few out, oh, and take Dramamine. Are we getting old or what?)

Sydney just couldn't get enough, although she was quite disappointed when she learned she still wasn't tall enough to go on the white roller coaster. Next year.

Who's kid is that standing up in the boat? Now we have to stop the ride. Oh, that would be Chase. That was his first and last ride. He didn't want anything to do with that. Again, maybe next year.

Look Familiar?

John definitely enjoyed this more than the kids, although Sydney was pretty good at it. Did you play this as a kid? I remember playing this for hours with my brothers.

Definitely Different

I am constantly amazed at how different Sydney and Connor have been , even from their little beginnings. Here is just another example: Sydney and her friend playing nicely in one spot with their ponies and Connor and his friends "being boys" I guess. Too bad Connor can't just keep that kind of activity outside and only with his little friends. Sydney doesn't enjoy that too much.
