This year went way faster than the pregnancy. I really would be happy if that first year could last longer. I love the first year. Too bad I have to be pregnant to have that.
Jordan has been such a good baby. She is almost always happy, although she does not wake up very happy yet. She loves her big sister and brother and now that she can crawl, she follows them everywhere. I have tried to teach her the sign for "more" and now she claps for everything. "Done?" she claps. "Milk?" she claps. "More?" she claps. It is so cute. Although I am sad that she isn't my little baby any more, I am excited to watch her learn all the new things that are coming and to see how her personality develops. She has been so fun so far.
My other 2 kids were very hesitant to eat their cake and ice cream, but Jordan loves food. There really isn't much she won't eat.

that ladybug cake is AMAZING! Did you make that yourself? I think we might need to do a cake decorating class for activity days!
It is hard that they grow so quickly during the first year, and you wish they would slow down. But, with Sawyer, he actually did stop all growing and gaining new milestones for FOUR MONTHS of his first year (they still don't really know why he stopped growing) and I realized that it's more fun to see them learn all their new things and to change than it is to have a long time with one phase. So, God's smart, He knows what we really want even when we don't know.
I can't believe she is already 1 years old... Holy Moly, where the time went? She is so grown up and even more cute than the last time I saw her. Happy B-day, Jordan!
