Things are really starting to move with John's practice right now, it is crazy! We went and visited his building the other day and they had dry wall up and it really started to sink in that this is really happening. We are both getting really excited to start this new phase of our life. Timing is definitely not perfect. Ya, both "babies" are due the middle of July. So we will need lots of prayers, mainly so my children survive : ). Anyway, if you are interested in checking it out, John has finished his website and you're welcome to check it out here. He has a "blog" section that shows a few pictures, but here are a few more updated pictures of the building.

This is the waiting room and the little childrens nook. Notice the ceiling. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it is all done.

And this is the opporatories. Again, I think the ceiling will look really neat. John will have space for 5 opps eventually, but for now he will only have 2 until he gets busier.

Victory! the second time around

Since Connor was showing no interest in getting rid of his pull-ups, even after I told him he couldn't go to swimming lessons or preschool until he did, I had to make a little bargain. Every time he went potty, he would get a bead to put in a jar and when the jar was full, we could go to the Dinosaur Museum. Well, after a long struggle, we finally made it to the museum.

Congrats on being a big boy buddy!

Best part about the trip: I got a flat tire. You may think, no problem. Minor inconvenience. Just change it and be on you way to your doctor appointment. Well, I didn't exactly know how to get to our spare tire, all I knew was that it came down between the driver and passenger seats, under the car. I can't even reach my toes to tie my shoes let a lone crawl under the van to get the tire. So, we have a service through our insurance so I called them. "Ya, he will be there in 45 minutes." Ha. Try 2 1/2 hours! If I would have known he was going to be that late, I would have let the two nice gentle man who stopped to help, actually help me, but no. I thought the guys would be there soon, so I sent them on their way. If I would have known, I would have let the kids go back into the museum, but no. I thought he would be here "any minute." Luckily the kids were very good waiting. And luckily, we were able to fix our tire for cheap.

"Mom, I want horse lessons"

My aunt has some property behind her house that she is renting out to some horse owners. Occasionally when we are there, we go out back to feed the horses some carrots.

The white one was a little more hyper and scared her, and me, a bit. He was obviously not used to kids walking around his feet. But they really liked the carrots!

Connor, on the other hand, was a little less sure of these giant beasts. Grandpa had to help a bit, since mom (me) can't lift him right now.

This particular night we happened to get lucky because the owners were there and let the kids ride them. Sydney was asking to ride one before the owner even offered. She was so excited when they offered! I was so proud of her. I thought she would be too scared of those huge animals and then I thought she would be too shy to actually do it. Well, I was wrong. There was no hesitation whatsoever.

Is that not a face of pure happiness? I just love these moments.

Again, Connor was a little less sure.

And so was I, so I made sure he had extra protection.

Marshall didn't seem to care at all. "Who cares that this big beast is staring me in the face, everything is huge to me."

I just really liked this picture. Connor with his uncle Mitchy! Definitely more sure of him than the horse.

Well, I guess I can start calling the girls room because soon there will be a little one in there.

We still need to get a few more pictures for the wall, but I was very happy with the way it turned out. Sydney will only be there until the baby comes and then I think we are going to move her in with Connor so the baby can have her own room for a while, at least until she sleeps through the night. (Hopefully that is about 1 month, is that too wishful?)

After the luncheon, we got a little break, then it was off to the Reception. I took a few pictures of family, but not many of the happy couple because they had a photographer there the whole time and I will just steal some of hers to print! Besides, I wore out about 10 minutes into the reception. It was a long day, and I was just on the side lines.
