My aunt has some property behind her house that she is renting out to some horse owners. Occasionally when we are there, we go out back to feed the horses some carrots.
The white one was a little more hyper and scared her, and me, a bit. He was obviously not used to kids walking around his feet. But they really liked the carrots!
Connor, on the other hand, was a little less sure of these giant beasts. Grandpa had to help a bit, since mom (me) can't lift him right now.
This particular night we happened to get lucky because the owners were there and let the kids ride them. Sydney was asking to ride one before the owner even offered. She was so excited when they offered! I was so proud of her. I thought she would be too scared of those huge animals and then I thought she would be too shy to actually do it. Well, I was wrong. There was no hesitation whatsoever.
Is that not a face of pure happiness? I just love these moments.
Again, Connor was a little less sure.
And so was I, so I made sure he had extra protection.
Marshall didn't seem to care at all. "Who cares that this big beast is staring me in the face, everything is huge to me."
I just really liked this picture. Connor with his uncle Mitchy! Definitely more sure of him than the horse.

Wow, Syd is very brave! When I did ride a horse first time I was... ok it was like 5 years ago and I was so scared because you literally don't have any control over that giant beast right away... Way to go Syd!
wow that's really cool, both the kids got to ride on the horses! looks like fun!
Cute and fun! I think I'm scared of horses.
