My handsome boy and his new suit.  I love that smile.

These are my cute grandparents.  I love them so much and have really enjoyed seeing them almost every week this summer.

Tues, July 17
So, I guess I didn't take a picture today either.  Wow, I'm doing awesome.  I did take some video of Connor, but I don't really want to post it.  He has been shaking his head from side to side quite frequently lately.  I am starting to wonder if he has Turrets.  So, I have been taking video of him so I can show the neurologist next week.  I'll keep you posted.

I should've taken this little guy home in my bag!  I love this guy.  More pictures to come.

I have an 8 year old.  Crazy!  For her birthday, she wanted to get her ears pierced.  She was so brave, she didn't even flinch!  She looks so much older with earrings, it's crazy! I absolutely love this girl and am lucky to call her mine!  More pictures of her Bday to come.

We let Sydney have a friend birthday party the night before this and a few extra visitors (I think the count was 6?) decided to stay.

Sat, July 21

We haven't had many family pictures since I got my new camera because I am too afraid to just ask anyone, but my cute cousin took this one for us after the nice climb up to Timpanogus Cave.  I also had to add a picture from the cave.  It was a lot of fun, but wow, what a climb.  The kids did really good and didn't complain too much.  John carried Jordan all the way up in a backpack, with a mostly healed fibula.  The way down was much worse, so luckily Lynn was there to carry Jordan for him, because there was no way I could've done it.  Sydney, who has been wanting to go to the cave since her cave unit in first grade, absolutely loved it.  She was a very good helper for the ranger too.

Uh, ya, forgot again, but, remember John's "sprained" ankle from Moab?  Well...

he actually broke his fibula.  Oops.  Since it was starting to heal like this, the Dr said to just keep wearing the brace we got him from Smiths.  There shouldn't be any permanent damage.  We're hoping.

Sydney meets Sawyer.  I love those freckles!

Tues, July 10
201/366
We are struggling over here.  I kicked Connor... wait, that sounds bad, but I somehow kicked Connor's heal with my little toe (I promise it wasn't on purpose) and it did not feel too great.  Then it turned pretty colors.  I guess I needed some sympathy pain for John.  (Later I did x-ray it at John's office and it didn't look broken, but it is still blue almost 3 weeks later.  Ouch!)

I actually got something to grow.  Miracles happen people.
Thurs, July 12
203/366
I love these people and I sure miss them!  This is about half of us who endured Glen Courts in Milwaukee together.  It's been about 2 years since I have seen a lot of them, so it was so good to meet for lunch and catch up.  It seems that everyone else's kids continue to grow too fast too!   I hope the other half of them can come next time!

We went camping again up to Trial Lake because we loved it so much!  Well, and we could actually do a fire there.  Usually we go up to Soapstone with my aunt and uncle and their kids, but with it being so stinking dry, and a lot of our state on fire already, we couldn't do a fire there and really, what is camping without a fire?  Anyway, Connor caught his first fish on this trip.  He was pretty happy about it!

Sat, July 14

This pretty much sums up our trip.  It was rainy and cold.  That is not so fun in a tent.  We left early.  But is sure was good to see my cousins Jon and Nik, who are proudly serving our country in the military.  I think it is time to get out boys and come home. We miss you!

4th of July

Happy Independance Day!
We had a fun day with some of our friends.  We BBQed and talked while the kids jumped on the trampoline, went on the slip-n-slide, and threw water balloons.  Then I introduced everyone to Dough Boys, which are still awesome (and entertaining).  Then we did sparklers with the kids.  Our neighbors did an awesome firework show but our kids were zonked out so John and I watched it on our porch in our PJ's.  It was a good day!

Baby Sawyer

 Proud grandparents
 Proud Dad!

 Love his big dark eyes!
I think he is trying to smile

I'm sure I could sneak him in my purse and just take him home!
He has the long fingers

My Baby turned 2!

Please somebody out there, make the growing stop!  I really enjoy the baby stage and it just goes by so fast.  I can't believe how fast Jordan is growing!  She is talking so well these days and is very opinionated!  Within the last few weeks, she has found a love for baby dolls.  She loves to wrap them in a blanket and then unwrap them.  She will do this over and over.  She also loves animals of all kinds.  She is not shy right now and loves to say "hi" and "bye" to strangers.  She loves her dad and is such a good snuggler, which my other two were definitely not!  Jordan, we love you!  You brightened our lives and we are so happy to have you!!

Ya, I hate yard work, so these guys get pretty big before I get to them.

Mon, July 2

Happy Birthday Baby!  I love letting my kids lick the beaters from their birthday cake because I think the mess is so funny!  I am pretty sure this one has been the best so far with the hand print on her forehead!
It was also one of my good friends birthdays today and her awesome husband paid for a few of us girl friends to get mani/pedi's.  I had never done that and I think I quite liked it!

Tues, July 3

So, our whole state is pretty much on fire.  You can't see in this picture, but coming from those mountains was a ton of smoke.  It almost looked like a volcano.  Well, because of the smoke, our moon looked orange.  Thank you to all those firemen working so hard these last couple weeks.

Wed, July 4

195/366
Happy Independance Day!  We had a lot of fun with friends and I hope to post those pictures soon.

Thurs, July 5

196/366
We finally got a little rain today.  Man it smelt good!  Too bad we had a Tball game to sit through in that rain, but it was still good!  Hopefully it helped out those firefighters.

Fri, July 6
197/366
Yay!  I am an aunt again!  I can't believe my baby brother has a baby!  He is going to be such a good dad!  And that little guy will be so lucky to have Linsey for a mom.  I am so excited for them!  (And remember guys, I am always willing to babysit! Please!)

Okay, here is one more of many to come, I am sure!

Picture a Day week 25

Sun, June 24

I was so sick and this is the view I had, well at least when I wasn't sleeping or hovered over the toilet.  I was in bed and sleeping pretty much all day.  Around this time, 5:22 from the looks of it, I was able to keep some water down and get out of bed for about 2 hours before I went back to bed and slept all night.  NOT fun.  Poor John had to give a short-notice talk at church and take care of the kids all day.  Let's not repeat this shall we!

Mon, June 25

Warning:  Potty talk
Jordan has been showing quite a bit of interest in going potty lately.  She will come and tell me "poop" when she has to go and she will actually go in the potty.  Last week, she even went pee for Sydney, so I thought lets try.  This is her showing her little monkey how to go.  So cute!
Needless to say, I am not ready.  I put her in underwear and she started peeing on the kitchen floor and screamed the whole time, almost like it scared her.  I still wasn't feeling great and was not up to cleaning up the mess, so we will try again some other day.

Tues, June 26

Sorry, full of nasty mommy stuff this week.
This is Jordan's booger hair-do.  Somehow she wiped it clear into her hair.
Gross, but comical.

Wed, June 27

Ladybugs.  If only we could all love life like a little child.

Thurs, June 28

Have I mentioned I love the zoo?
This picture is for my friend Jen who is in Zambia taking pictures of wild animals, who are not behind a cage, on a safari.  Mine are behind a cage.  Yes, I am jealous.

Fri, June 29
 190/366
We went camping by a beautiful lake.  Seriously loved it.  I asked Sydney to do this pose for me and she looked at me like I was an alien.  Looks like it is time for some movie education!

Sat, June 30
 191/366
Yes, please celebrate with us.  We caught a fish.  Not just one fish.  Five!  (Well, we like to say 7 because 2 flipped out of our hands, but we'll stick with 5) All growing up we would joke about the "Jackson fishing curse" because we could not catch anything.  Hopefully we broke that curse for good.  I will post more pictures of our fun camping trip and let you know who caught their first fish!
