Our Pretty Princess

Sydney is now 3 1/2 and is really starting to grow up. She started a ballet class at the YMCA and is loving it! She is very excited that our friend is teaching it and that her good friend is in the class too. She loves to dance around the house and she even started dancing with Connor. Their specialty is what John likes to call "the deacon shuffle." She is also taking swimming lessons and is doing so well. Before she started swimming lessons she would cling to me with her death grip and would not let go, even with a life jacket. Now she loves to jump off the side to Dad and likes to "swim" with the noodles. She is growing up so fast. Her memory is getting better too. Just today she was talking about her good "friends" (really cousins) Jillian and Hayden "from St. Louis!" I don't dare tell her they don't live in St. Louis because that is where she will remember them and she was so excited to talk about them. We hope we can see them again soon.
